السير أرنولد تالبوت ويلسون إنگليزية: Arnold Talbot Wilson (و. 18 يوليو 1884 - 31 مايو 1940) الحاكم المدني (للعراق) في بغداد (1918 - 1920). كان قريباً من پرسي كوكس وعُين مساعداً له عام 1912, وكان آنذالك مسئولاً عن المنطقة الممتدة من إصفهان حتى الأحواز. وفي عام 1913 استقر في لورستان, وفي العام التالي قام بتخطيط الحدود التركية الفارسية. وعنه قال برسي كوكس في 28 ديسمبر 1914, بعد وصول ويلسون إلى البصرة قادماً من لندن:
«... الآن استطيع أن أرتاح من عمل الحمير لأن ويلسون معي مرة أخرى. لقد عدنا إلى سابق عهدنا وأستطيع أن أنام مبكراً الآن!»
في عام 1907, نُقِل ويلسون إلى المكتب السياسي الهندي حيث ارسل إلى الخليج العربي, حيث عمل كضابط سياسي, وجندي وإداري رفيع المستوى. وفي عام 1920 التحق بشركة النفط الإنگليزية الفارسية Anglo-Persian Oil Company كمدير مقيم resident director في الخليج العربي. أشرف ويلسون على اكتشاف أول حقل نفط في الشرق الأوسط, مسجد سليمان في 1908.
