الأعور cecum أو caecum هو كيس مرتبط بالقولون الصاعد من الأمعاء الغليظة واللفائفي. ويفصلها عن اللفائفي الصمام اللفائفي الأعوري (ICV) أو صمام باوهين Bauhin's valve , ويعتبر بداية الأمعاء الغليظة. ويفصله عن القولون cecocolic junction.
