This maintenance template is part of the Wikipedia project, not the encyclopedia proper. The tag automatically places images in Category:Images made obsolete by a PNG version.

Usage

Example

{{PNG version available|Example.png}} creates:

ملف:Mime png.png

A PNG version of this image is also available, and should be used in place of this image whenever possible.
If this is a non-free image, please ensure the image has been replaced by the PNG version, and mark it for deletion by adding

{{subst:orfud|replacement=Example.png}}

to this page.
