This template makes a box linking to a category of Wiktionary. This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopedic content.
Usage
The template accepts two parameters:
category– the Wiktionary category nametype– descriptive text

A single unnamed numerical parameter (sometimes also written as |1=) can be given if no other parameters are supplied. It will apply to both the |category= and |type= parameters for simpler syntax:

When no parameter is supplied, the template auto-detects the current page name:

Location
Do not place this template in a section all by itself.
Do not place this template in a section containing columns.
This template should normally be placed at the top of the ==External links== section at the end of an article, if the article has a section for external links. If no such section exists, then please place it at the top of the last section in the article.
On disambiguation pages, this template should be listed above other text, but below any cleanup templates, images, infoboxes or navboxes.
