مخيم البريج هو مخيم للاجئين الفلسطينين في وسط قطاع غزة شرقي طريق الشمال الجنوب الرئيسي. وأنشئ المخيم عام 1949 على مساحة 528 دونم. وتم تسكين الكثير من اللاجئين البالغين 13000 لاجئ في ثكنات عسكرية بريطانية، والآخرين في خيام. وتم تشييد مساكن أسمنتية في الخمسينات من القرن العشرين، واليوم، يعيش معظم اللاجئين في مساكن مزدحمة، كما أن 80% من أسقف المساكن مغطاة بالأسبستوس. وهناك جزء من المخيم يفتقر إلى نظام الصرف الصحي، وتجري مياه المجاري في قنوات مفتوحة حيث تتجمع في وادي غزة شمالا، ما يجعلها أرضا خصبة لتكاثر الناموس وخطرا صحيا بالغا.
