مقاطعة مـِسينا (إيطالية: provincia di Messina; صقلية: pruvincia di Missina) مقاطعة في شمال شرق جزيرة صقلية الإيطالية ، عدد سكانها 657.785 نسمة ( 13٪ من مجموع سكان صقلية) ، و مساحتها 3247 كيلومتر مربع (12.6 ٪ من مساحة الجزيرة) و بها 108 من المدن والبلدات والقرى. وعاصمتها مدينة ميسينا. وقد حل محلها مدينة مسينا الكبرى.

It had an area of 3،247 متر كيلومربع (1،254 sq mi), which amounts to 12.6 percent of total area of the island, and a total population of more 650,000. There are 108 comuni (ص.م.: comune) in the province [1].

مقاطعة ميسينا واقعة إلى أقصى شمال شرق الجزيرة و تطل شمالا على البحر التيراني و غربا على مضيق ميسينا الذي يفصلها عن القارة ، يحدها غربا مقاطعة پالرمو ، جنوبا مقاطعة إنا و مقاطعة كاتانيا .

المقاطعه تشمل الأرخبيل الإيولي كلها جزء من بلدية ليبارى (باستثناء جزيرة سالينا). أرض المقاطعة في معظمها جبلية ، باستثناء السهول الفيضية عند مصاب الانهار المختلفة . أكبر سهل هو انه في المنطقة الواقعة بين ميلاتسو و برشلونة بوتسو دي غوتو ، والتي تشكل مع مسينا منطقة حضرية ذات حوالى 500،000 نسمة كواحدة من أكبر المناطق في جنوب إيطاليا . جزء كبير من السكان متمركزين في المنطقة الساحلية ، بعد أن هجرت القرى الجبلية إلى حد كبير في القرن التاسع عشر .

المرتفعات الجبلية الرئيسية : بيلوريتاني (1300 متر) و نيبرودي (تصل إلى 1،900 متر) والتي تشمل محمية طبيعية إقليمية .

انهار المقاطعه تشمل نهر القنطارة Alcantara ، و نهر بولينا ، الذي يشكل الحدود الغربية مع مقاطعة باليرمو .
